Recent tests centered around this have shown an increase in sales, likes, and traffic to listings across the board. With these results and your valued feedback in mind, we have moved back to an optimized version of just shared as the default sort for all users.

I just joined in May as a seller and now I’m not feeling too confident about joining.
So now people can bulk share? FIX THE SEARCH!! We now have to compete with crap listings being promoted in the feed and with more sharing competition! You’re really pissing people off Poshmark!
oh PLEASE. you are FOS. I put my closet on vacation until the end of the month and I may do it through next month also. Searching for ANYTHING pulls up listings overloaded with keywords and FAKES UPON FAKES UPON FAKES. The platform has become littered with counterfeit products and scammers. I was with Posh for a while and really loved it, but I am so disgusted by the crap you people allow to happen on there.
I’m with you!! I’ve put mine on vacation mode consistently because I’m so tired of the bull____! I too used to be so excited about this platform, that’s the key word, used to!! It’s just so sad what they’ve done to a good thing!
You’re so right. It’s horrible & put Seller’s like myself who sale AUTHENTIC items, buyers are skeptical to buy from reputable closet. I believe PM don’t care as people are buying the fake items & thousands FAKE business are joining everyday. It’s obvious & have saturated this platform. In the end, PM gets their 20% & so why should they monitor it. I am amazed & have reported hundreds & hundreds fake items & these accounts aren’t removed. I participate in the Tip Top Shape reviews & items are still available. Most know that you will not find a brand new Gucci, Chanel or LV authentic purse, earrings, shoes etc for $299 or less. BRAND NEW. These items are flooded on PM. Now I get buyers afraid to shop my closet if I lower my real high end items below $500. For that reason, I won’t. It is to protect the buyer & me as a seller so it can goes through PM for authentication & I won’t be a victim of the highly BAIT & SWITCH scam eating away on this platform too. Since PM introduced their new SEO/Algorithm back in March, their “COMMUNITY” have totally deteriorated & most businesses are non-existent, at least for my once upon business.
In saying this, these contracted outlets businesses PM made agreements with are thriving with thousands of sales a day. They are huge & no way can my or other small business compete with them. They don’t have to follow PM policies or procedures that PM put upon us. They don’t accept bundles, nor any shipping deal, sharing nor go through PM when a claim or case is open. They have different rules. Most of the Sellers who are thriving are part of the Beta testing or Control group PM implemented on their last Fireside Chat about 5 months ago. I haven’t heard the result of that or switching it to give other sellers an opportunity to profit from their way of doing new business. On Instagram & Facebook, I read Sellers asking daily, are anyone making sales? I haven’t sold an item in weeks or I sold 4 items & nothing again for weeks. Prior to the changes, our biggest complaints were the scammers. Sellers were buying from other sellers & buyers were buying. The monies were going back into PM company which made them so successful. Now sellers can’t afford to buy as they aren’t making money & some buyers are feeding off the desperation by offer the most ridiculous lowball offer they can. Does anyone see the huge mess this one decision PM executive made? It’s a MESS.
When Arabs bought out Posh , I’ve noticed more and more fakes from Foreigners being allowed and flooding Posh. Posh knows exactly what they’re doing .
I agree with most of the comments. I’ve been a Posher for about 4-5 yrs. It is so different now.
Why new education for Posh ambassador‘s only? Really?
I sold a $2000 diamond bracelet and of course it goes to Poshmark to be authenticated. Well because they did not have the ability to appraise the diamonds I lost the sale. Fix it please. Annie long
As a new seller it’s disheartening to see that search pretty much favors those closets that have the most listings. I shared my item (Madewell jeans) and still couldn’t find them immediately in the results unless I scrolled way, way down on the screen. And even then I couldn’t find it at times. What buyer is going to scroll that much? That is after I put in many categories (size, type, color, etc.) to try to narrow down my purchase just the way a buyer would. As a conclusion it seems search favors the rich on this platform and not the poor in listings. With that, not sure it’s worth my time or effort.

SEARCHING FOR BACKSTREET BOYS AND A DAMN LOUIS VUITTON BAG OR FRYE BOOTS COME UP. SEARCH FOR GUCCI BAGS BUT ALICE IN THE WONDERLAND FAKE NECKLACES FROM CHINA OR OVERSEAS COMES UP . AGAIN SAVE IT BECAUSE WE ALL ARE ON TO YOU AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT YOURE DOING.
Agree with all the comments about the search function. Your company made a huge investment in IT since becoming public, & this should have been fixed by now. Please do not delay, & remember that your sellers are also investors.
“Were” investors is almost more accurate since I’ve lost 90% of what I put in, never mind the drop from $47 to $10.50??? Just awful!
PLEASE FIX SEARCH!! I’m tired of it Posh! I’m tired of you not listening to your sellers. YOUR SEARCH IS BROKEN!! People don’t put periods in when searching for brands. Results should not be filtered to that extent!! I’m telling you as a buyer and an experienced reseller. Please stop sabotaging us sellers! I can’t believe you guys are still doing this to us sellers that have been there from the start!
Poshmark has never gave a damn about their sellers..This site has gone straight woke.,Tradesy is so much better, they do not force you to offer shipping discounts..And I sell my items for almost double the amount there, than I do on Woke Posh,,str8 trash now..
Search is still just ridiculous! I can’t believe you guys are still allowing this to go on. I haven’t had a sale in 4 days and I used to have 1-3 daily during the week. I used to have 3-10 every weekend day. When I search “AS 98 shoes” the search does not show anything properly. When I search it “A.S. 98” it pulls everything up properly. Buyers ARE NOT going to take the time to put periods in. Please fix this & STOP changing things until they are perfected. No wonder everyone’s sales are down. This is horrible Poshmark! I’m so disappointed
I feel exactly the same as you. I can’t believe a company this big has such major issues with search. If buyers have just one typo, it won’t come up. If the title doesn’t match the brand, it won’t come up. Even when done in optimal conditions with the exact wording of the item, more unrelated items show, and you have to go through dozens of pages to find what you want.
I hate to break it to you Postmark, but SEARCH has gotten worse … MUCH WORSE since your ‘improvements’. I’m a former business tester and seller on your site. I can’t even find my own listings when I search my closet. If you make 1 small typo, it won’t come up. If you search Pur x Barbie Lipstick, items only come up If sellers list the brand as BARBIE. If I search the exact name of an item, it will only come up If the brand name matches the title. Trying to search sold items is even worse. I could write a book about this topic alone. Please answer your emails and listen to your end users. I’ve never received a reply for any of my suggestions or concerns.
I hardly go to this site anymore. Tried again today and have to search through too much for the exact thing I am looking for. Lost customer who shopped here everyday or so.
I’m a bargain shopper so i often like to change the sort order of my results to “from low to high” but lately this action gets rid of almost all my search results. Goes from what i know to be thousands down to 5 or six on the page. Please fix!!!
I believe if you know what your looking for you will find it, Poshmark is awesome for the ultimate find.
No longer shop on Poshmark due to your changes in new search options. Too much trouble and looking through things you don’t want. I shopped and bought a lot previously. This site is awful now and too time consuming.
I have tried several times to go buy on Poshmark only to leave empty handed and upset a few minutes later. Between the awful search and the keyword/misstagged brand spammers that are never taken down no matter how much you report them, is IMPOSSIBLE to find what you are looking for. I used to scroll and like items until I could find enough items from the same seller to buy big bundles, now I shop on other platforms like curtsy, mercari and ebay.
My sales have been horrible ever since they changed the algorithm. Declining month by month no matter what I do. It’s like Im invisible. Dear Poshmark, I read hundreds of complaints about your new algorithm (and search issues, and inactive sellers not shipping) every single day on all social media posh groups. Please change it back if you care. We know you can see us not being happy.
