Our NYC Posh Party Co-Hosts Rock Spring Trends

We’re jumping up and down with anticipation of our Spring Trends Posh Party tomorrow, which we’re hosting LIVE from NYC along with some of our favorite NYC-based bloggers! To get you in the mood, we wanted to share 6 of our favorite spring looks worn by each of our co-hosts:

1. Laura of On The Racks is rocking florals with those adorable Citizens of Humanity jeans. We especially love how she paired them up with caged booties for an edgier look.

2. Caroline of Sweet Caroline in the City mixes her adorable polka-dotted top with perfect-for-spring, bold colors for the ideal 9-to-5 look.

3. Christina of Profresh Style isn’t afraid of mixing bold prints! We’re loving this look and have our eyes set on those lady-printed Orla Kiely pants.

4. Jessie of Style and Pepper shows us how she rocks a bold, floral print on the beach. We’re smitten with the adorable headband she styled the look with, but also like the fact that this photoshoot looks like it came straight out of an Anthropologie catalog!

5. Christine of Court & Hudson keeps it classy (and oh-so-gorgeous!) with a sweet and feminine peplum top.

6. Bonnie of Flashes of Style looks fabulous in this feminine mint and pastel pink outfit.

Happy Thursday!

We get asked more often than not about what our office here in Menlo Park looks like. So we thought it’d be fun to give you a small “behind the scenes” sneak peek at where the Poshmark magic happens. We’re really waving from our chairs! 😉

Oh, and here are a few snaps from last night’s Posh Party where we hosted a few of our fave community members:

Hope everyone is having a fabulous day!

Posh Tip: How to make your first Poshmark sale!

You’ve taken the time to create your listings, now you’re wondering, “how am I going to get my items sold?” Not to worry ladies! Here are just a few Posh Tips on how we can move your inventory and get you one step closer to getting that Rebecca Minkoff bag you’ve been eyeing!

Posh Tip #1: Take some time to create a beautiful listing. Let’s face it ladies, no one really wants to see a dark photo of a wrinkled skirt on a messy bed. Take the time to iron your item if it’s wrinkled, clear out the space where you’re photographing, and preferably, put the item on if you can. People generally want to see what the item looks like on to see the fit, cut, etc, so that always helps!

Posh Tip #2: Attend Posh Parties! This is a great way of promoting your listings to a wider audience. Want to sell that polka dot dress? Attend the “Prints & Patterns” posh party and share your listing then. Just make sure you stick to theme!

Posh Tip #3: Be Responsive! Someone is ready to buy your Steve Madden Booties. But as a last step before making the purchase, the user asks you to take a pic of the bottom of the shoes to see the wear. Try to be as responsive as possible. Can’t take the photo until tonight when you’re off from work? Let them know! This will not only potentially create a sale for you, but you’ll also get a happy user who will be appreciative of your responsiveness and possibly be a repeat customer!

Happy Poshmarking! And here’s to getting your listing(s) with a red SOLD banner on it! 😉
