Happy Friday, Poshmarkers! This week was jam-packed with excitement: from a major announcement, to celebrating our first birthday! See what had us jumping for joy this week: 

1. #PoshmarkTurns1: We celebrated our first birthday this week! The past year has been filled with so many amazing milestones, growth, and love. We owe it all to you, our amazing Poshmarkers! We can’t wait for what year two has in store for us!

2. Giveaway Alert: No birthday would be complete without a party, so that is exactly what we did! Our local friends, community, and friends came out to help us celebrate on Wednesday night and we had the best time ever! There was dancing, photo booth fun and, of course, an amazing gift box…which we are also giving away to ten lucky Poshmarkers! For the chance to win a box yourself, click here!

A huge thank you to our friends at Julep Nails and France Luxe for adding some fab goodies to the gift boxes!

3. Hot Off The Press: If you missed our over-the-moon-with-excitement announcement earlier in the week, check out this amazing article. It not only shares Poshmark’s big news, but is downright hilarious! 

                    

4. Posh Love: It makes us so happy to hear about your favorite Poshmark purchases, see how you styled an item, and the adorable packaging you put so much love into. 5. Posh Party It Up: We don’t know about you, but this week has us so ready for a relaxing weekend full of SATC reruns and getting ready for the holidays. No better way to complete your weekend than by lounging and shopping in this weekend’s fashionably-fun Posh Parties that are now happening three times a day! The secret to finding the best items on Poshmark is to find people who share a similar style (and size) to you! Here are some tips and tricks to finding your stylemate and scoring the best deals that Poshmark has to offer!

Follow People
Your feed is an ever-changing collection of listings shared by the people you are following. A new user’s listing will show up in your feed if someone you are following thought this listing was awesome and wanted to share it with you.

If you like what you see, click through and follow them! This way, every time they add a new listing from their closet, you’ll see it pop up in your feed.  Score!

You can also find people by tapping the IMG_8050 icon on the top right corner of your feed. You can follow people based on Brands, Cities, and Colleges you have in common.

Bookmark Your Likes
As you are shopping on Poshmark, go ahead and “like” items you want to come back to later (and possibly buy!). All your likes will be saved in “My Likes.”

“My Likes”  can be found at the top navigation bar on your main Feed in the app.

Love Michael Kors, Coach, Louis Vuitton, and other designer names? Keep an eye out for our daily brand-themed Posh Parties. If you miss a party you can always shop past parties and browse through hundreds of brand name items – all at a discount!

Utilize Search
Explore items by specific brands or categories (such as dresses or shoes) with Poshmark’s search functionality. You can even filter search results by your sizes, just in, and more!

Access Search at the top navigation bar on your main Feed in the app. To filter your initial search results, click the “Filter” button at the top right of the screen in the next window.

Posh Protect

We understand safety and trust are important to you. With Poshmark’s Posh Protect, you are protected every time you place an order on Poshmark.

Refund Policy

When you purchase on Poshmark, we don’t release payment to the seller until you tell us that you’ve received your order and it’s as described in the listing. You have 3 days after delivery to inform us if the item has been misrepresented by reporting the problem in the Poshmark app or website with supporting photos. Only after you’ve marked your item as ‘received’ do we release your payment to the seller.

What is not covered

Item does not fit/changed mind: Unfortunately, if the item isn’t your style or doesn’t fit you, we cannot accept a return. You’re more than welcome to re-list the item on Poshmark!

Trades & Offline Transactions (i.e. PayPal): Posh Protect does not cover trades or any transaction completed off of the Poshmark platform (e.g. paid through PayPal). When payment for the full value of items is not exchanged through the Poshmark platform, we cannot and do not guarantee that both parties ship and transact as promised. You bear all risks associated with any such transaction.

Do’s and Don’ts

DO:

  • Check your purchase promptly (within 3 days) to make sure your new item was accurately described in the listing.
  • Mark your item as ‘received’ in the app if everything is okay.
  • Contact us by emailing support@poshmark.com immediately if there is a problem with your order.

DON’T:

  • Delay checking your item past 3 days.
  • Mark your item as received if there is a problem with your order.
  • Try to resolve any problems with your order yourself. Contact us first. We’re here to help.

Remember, if the item you received is not as it was described in the listing, then you are covered under Posh Protect.

We can’t tell you how blessed we are to have SO many things bring smiles to our faces each and everyday. Here are a few things in particular that are making us extra happy this week:

1. #PoshmarkTurns1: As you may have read on the blog earlier this week, Poshmark is turning 1! We can’t wait to celebrate this year of success, and of course we couldn’t have done it without each and everyone of you! If you are in the Bay Area, be sure to read how to win a ticket to our party and take home one fab gift box! 

         

2. Tasty Treats: If there’s one thing that gets the office buzzing, it’s when we have yummy treats in front of us (yes—we live to eat)! Cupcakes, chips, macarons. You name it, we love it! Nearly every day this week we were spoiled above-and-beyond by some of our friends who dropped by with delicious snacks for us, so thank you for thinking of us over here at PMHQ and providing us with some fuel to keep working hard!

        

3. Holiday Gift Guide Posh Parties: Have you been tuning in to our afternoon Posh Parties? Come list, shop, and share all things that are “New With Tags” (aka “NWT”) that make the perfect holiday gift! Stay tuned next week for even more Gift Guide Parties hosted by some of our favorite boutiques on Poshmark! 

              

4. Posh Packages: The closer we get to the holidays, the more we are seeing some mighty-fabulous packaging! When shipping out your sales, remember that this could possibly be a gift for someone else! Fun tissue paper, ribbon and a thank you card make the world of a difference (and we’ve seen that it keeps shoppers coming back to the same closets for more).

       

5. Goodbye, November: Time really does fly by when you’re having fun. This November we gave thanks, had fashionably-fun Posh Parties, rockstar hosts, and so much more. We welcome December with open arms and can’t wait to spend the holidays with you all!
