We’ve made changes to Poshmark’s Heart & Hustle Community Fund.
Since announcing the program in December 2020, we’ve made a few changes in an effort to create more opportunities for the Poshmark community to apply. This includes increasing the frequency of grants given from twice per year to quarterly and spanning eligibility across the 2021 calendar year. We believe this will allow a greater number of eligible applicants to be considered for grants while also ensuring a level playing field.
Grants will now be distributed over four quarterly application cycles spanning the 2021 calendar year. Applications for the January 1 – March 31, 2021 Spring cycle will open on April 2, 2021.
For more information on the Fund and application cycles, head to our website now.

1. A Couple of Cool Cats: Tiger King’s Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin
Netflix’s Tiger King hit screens in early March 2020, and boy did it cause an uproar. Viewers went wild binge-watching the docuseries that sparked major controversy, making headlines left and right. We had a feeling this wouldn’t be the last time we would hear from the big-cat loving rivals, Carole Baskin and Joe Exotic. Now you can create Carole Baskin’s signature, hippie look featuring a flower crown headpiece, either an animal print top or a tie dye blouse, and some loose fitted jeans. Or opt for Joe’s sequin top, reflective sporty sunnies, and some extra tight skinny jeans.
2. Here for the Boo’s: Ghosts of TikTok
Boo! The classic ghost costume is back and just as easy as before, but this time it’s taking TikTok by storm with the #GhostPhotoshoot challenge. Don’t believe us? Just ask any Gen Z-er or check it out for yourself here. Here’s what you’ll need: a white sheet and a pair of sunglasses, that’s it! And if you want to take the challenge, just grab a camera, snap some spooky pictures, and tag us @poshmark.
3. The Last Dance: Michael Jordan’s Legacy
Michael Jordan is a house-hold name for those who love the game of basketball and even for those who don’t, which is why his new docuseries, The Last Dance, was a slam dunk for many. This Halloween, you can rep #23 with a pair of Air Jordan sneakers, the classic Chicago bulls NBA jersey, and top it off with some Air Jordan Basketball shorts.
4. A Loaf Story: Banana Bread
If you haven’t tried baking banana bread at some point this year are you even doing 2020 right? Whether you consider yourself a master baker or still need to perfect your recipe, this banana bread-inspired costume with banana accessories (skirt, earrings, sandals) and bread apparel galore, like this epic Wonder logo t-shirt, is sure to work up an appetite. Maybe it’ll even inspire someone else to get in the kitchen and start baking!
5. Self-Care Season: Be You. Do You. For You.
If there’s one thing 2020 has taught us, it’s that self-care is truly the best care. So get comfy, put on a cute robe for you and your mini (here), add some furry slippers, and throw a towel wrap around your hair to prep for the last finishing touch, a luxe face mask. There’s nothing a little TLC can’t fix this spooky season!
6. US(P.S.) We Love You: Postal Workers
What would we do without our amazing USPS workers? They work tirelessly all year, and what better way to show your appreciation than by dressing up as your favorite mail carrier! You know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery so put on some navy cargo shorts, a blue button-up shirt, a bucket hat, and a crossbody duffle. Bonus points if you carry around a (free) USPS package or customize your look with a “PoshMail Thank You” sticker. Be sure to snap a photo with your local USPS heroes.
7. Go Beyond the Reef: Moana
No matter your age, Disney’s Moana has become a feel-good classic practically overnight. So channel your inner Moana, dream about sailing the sea, and see how far you’ll go to dress the part. Shop Moana Costumes Here.

Enter the comedy that took the world AND the Emmy’s by storm this year: Schitt’s Creek. Steal the dramatic look of the incredibly fabulous, ex-soap star, Moira Rose. How, you ask? Stick to black and white and turn the drama and accessories way up. Create your very own Moira Rose inspired look with a black patent leather jacket, cat-eye sunnies, a bold statement necklace, and a chic pair of fingerless gloves. Bonus points for adding her signature dark lip, unplaceable accent, and a bébé of your own: a wig!
