Jillian (@flippinthrift)

Introduce yourself, with your name + closet name, where you are from, how long you have been on Poshmark.
Hello! My name is Jillian! You can find me on Poshmark as @flippinthrift! I am from Montreal but started selling on Poshmark in March while I was living in Ottawa.

How did you discover Poshmark?
My reselling journey began when I decided to start my own business and discovered the clothing resale industry. My research led me to find Poshmark as a platform that was easy to use, so I started listing and made my first sale within a few days. I still remember my first sale, a white Columbia Puffer jacket!

Why did you choose to become a Posh N Coffee host and how was your experience?
I decided to host my first Posh N Coffee in June as a way to connect with fellow resellers and get some tips as well as share my knowledge! I was still relatively new to the platform but my entrepreneurial experience, along with my business and marketing background, allowed me to help other Poshers in various ways.

What are your biggest takeaways since hosting?
My biggest takeaway from both attending and hosting Posh N Coffee events are the connections and friends I was able to make virtually. Poshmark is an amazing community and I am in contact daily on Instagram with other sellers, asking for advice, sending words of encouragement, and helping them out if they have questions.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to fellow Poshers who are interested in becoming a host in the future?
My biggest advice to anyone who would like to host a Posh N Sip event is to just go for it! Be prepared with some questions to guide the discussion (Poshmark even provides you with a guide that includes talking points and questions) but the conversation will generally flow fairly easily with everyone sharing tips and asking questions to each other.

Erin (@erinbreit)

Introduce yourself, with your name + closet name, where you are from, how long you have been on Poshmark.
I’m Erin McMellan (@erinbreit). I’m from Lewisville, Texas and have been Poshing full-time since the beginning of 2019.

How did you discover Poshmark?
I discovered Poshmark when I was looking for a place to help sell my aunt’s nice purses in 2017 and from 2017-2019, I only listed her purses. In 2019, I started really getting into it selling my own stuff and more.

Why did you choose to become a Posh N Coffee host and how was your experience?
I chose to host a Posh N Coffee event because I love meeting new people and hearing their ideas and what works well for them.

Christine (@poshychristine)

Introduce yourself, with your name + closet name, where you are from, how long you have been on Poshmark.
Season’s greetings Poshers. I’m Christine and my closet name is @PoshyChristine. I am from Virginia, and I have been on Poshmark since 2013.

How did you discover Poshmark?
I discovered Poshmark when I was searching for an intuitive platform where I could sell apparel and accessories to minimize my closets.

Why did you choose to become a Posh N Coffee host and how was your experience?
I chose to become a host so that I could be a virtual resource to Poshers who desire to grow their Poshmark businesses and had any questions about reselling or buying using the app.

What are your biggest takeaways since hosting?
To virtually connect with fellow Poshers opens up the possibility to share the latest updates, best practices, helpful tips, and network within our community.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to fellow Poshers who are interested in becoming a host in the future?
Share that you are hosting a Posh N Coffee with your PFFs and on all of your social media platforms to reach your followers, friends, and family who do not have the Poshmark app and share your invite code.

Krystle (@krystlesno)

Introduce yourself, with your name + closet name, where you are from, how long you have been on Poshmark
My name Is Krystle Sno. My Posh closet is @krystlesno and I’m from the state of Kansas. I started Poshmark on July 21st, 2019 and became a Posh Ambassador on August 17th, 2019.

How did you discover Poshmark?
I learned about Poshmark one night when I was sitting at my desk trying to apply for at-home jobs and had been searching for weeks. I stood up to stretch and walked into my bedroom and all of a sudden a Poshmark commercial came on my TV. The moment the commercial was over, boom I went straight to my laptop and looked up Poshmark and downloaded the app on my iPhone immediately. After a week or more, I started making sales after sales. I’m able to work from home while being able to be there for my children at the same time. Sounds awesome, am I right? Knowing I now was able to bring income for my family lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. I joined Poshmark for my family. They are what helps me thrive to work hard. After time went by and I learned more about Poshmark and studied what works best for me and what doesn’t. I decided it was time that I help those who were or are struggling financially or were having trouble making sales.

Why did you choose to become a Posh N Coffee host and how was your experience?
I started looking online to see how I could help others and then a couple days later I received a notification asking about joining an opportunity to help through becoming a Posh N Coffee host. Ever since then I have been hosting weekly Posh N Coffee events. I started my first Posh N Coffee in April 2020. It has been such an amazing experience to meet new people and to make new PFFs.

What are your biggest takeaways since hosting?
To know I can help give advice to others who have helped me. I’ve learned some new things myself from those who’ve joined, too. We are all one big Posh family. As of September 2020, I now have a co-host as well whose username is @uniquechicny. She loves helping others just as much as I do.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to fellow Poshers who are interested in becoming a host in the future?
If you ever decide to become a Posh N Coffee host, you will bring hope to those who had felt like they were failing or to those who needed help with building their Posh business. You will be able to meet new people and they will have advice to give too.
