The new mom manages to make it all look so effortlessly chic that we could all learn a thing or two about elevating everyday outfits to be our best, stylish selves. Take it away, Amanda!
Where do you find outfit inspiration?
I love looking at other fashion bloggers and celebrity styles. I love theLaurenElizabeth, Song of Style, Lefashion and Atlantic-Pacific and for celebrities I take a lot of style inspiration from Nicole Richie, Vanessa Hudgens and Clemence Posey.
What wardrobe pieces can you not live without?
Well being a new mom, I’m inclined to say yoga pants; I live in yoga pants these days. But, my must-have fashion item is a dark denim skinny jean and floral kimono! Those two pieces are easy to transition from each season, you can easily style them any way you choose and, even better, they are easy to throw on when you need to look stylish without putting in the time or effort.
Your looks really come to life on your YouTube channel and blog. How has your personal style grown as a result of sharing with an audience?
I think my style has grown and evolved because I am more inclined to take risks. I used to not wear accessories or switch up my style at all. I was always beachy bohemian. Now, I want to help inspire my viewers with new ways to style certain items, and that also means sometimes dressing preppy, or little more rock or incorporating accessories that I wouldn’t have normally selected before I started YouTube. I’ve realized that fashion has no limitations.
As the host of the Daily Dose of Fashion Party, how do you elevate an otherwise everyday look?
A few things help me elevate a look from ordinary to stylish. Like I mentioned before, a kimono or sheer cardigan can take a look to a whole other level. It adds a certain bohemian chic that always translates well. I also think a simple statement necklace can instantly make an outfit amazing. When I throw on a pair of jeans and a grey V-neck tee, a statement necklace immediately transforms the look from plain and casual to casual with style.
What kinds of items will you be featuring in the Host Picks Showroom?
I am really drawn to amazing prints, both understated and loud, so expect some great florals, stripes and geometric patterns. Transitional pieces of course, something that will look great styled with each season and you can’t forget some great statement jewelry!

What can we expect to see shared to the Host Picks Showroom?
As we transition into the end of summer and cooler weather, I’m all about incorporating fall pieces into your summer wardrobe. Think wool blazers with sleeveless dresses, ankle booties with skirts, and cozy sweaters with maxi dresses. I will be sharing pieces such as silk blouses, below-the-ankle booties, scarves, pencil skirts, and thick sweaters.
What are your favorite Daily Dose of Fashion pieces or trends?
I’m really loving mules for fall! They’re classy yet unexpected (and totally different from the hideous mules of the ’90s). Quilted leather on purses or jackets is another favorite of mine. I also love drapey, cinched joggers – so comfy and so easy to dress up with a fabulous pair of heels!

What can we expect to see shared to the Host Picks Showroom?
I will be looking for classic pieces upon which a wardrobe is built. You’ll be seeing items of varying sizes and price points by trusted designers and brands. I love the basics. No wardrobe is complete without them. Everything classic, timeless – necessary items such as the infamous LBD, suits, pumps, trousers, go-to jewelry, and of course classic jeans and tees are basics too.
What are your favorite Back to Basics pieces or trends?
Necessary items that stand the test of time and know no trend are my absolute favorites. Of course, every woman should own a black suit, a white button down shirt, perfect pumps, and a cashmere sweater.
