15 years ago, my three co-founders and I were fueled by a humble dream in my Silicon Valley garage: to completely reimagine the future of retail. We saw a massive opportunity to leverage technology to enable you to shop and sell from one another’s closets online, and to truly connect around each magical experience. Our vision was to infuse the social and personal aspects that we all know and love about in-person shopping into a vibrant digital space.

We poured our hearts into that dream with you every step of the way, and together, we made it happen. Today, the Poshmark community is 150 million strong, and that’s all thanks to you. Day in and day out, you embrace your unique secondhand style, you build your livelihoods with us, and, most profoundly, you foster a supportive network amongst yourselves. That spirit of support and #PoshLove is the very heart of this community, and it’s something I deeply hope you will all carry forward into this next exciting chapter of the company.

Today, we announced that I’ve decided it’s time for me to pass the torch as Poshmark’s CEO to Namsun Kim, Poshmark’s current Executive Chairman and someone I’ve known and deeply respected since 2022. When I first met Namsun, his profound conviction in our mission immediately struck me. I felt with certainty that he was someone I would be incredibly proud to see lead this company one day. For the better part of this year, Namsun and I have been working hand-in-hand, ensuring this transition is as smooth as possible, preparing him to lead Poshmark into its next era of growth and excellence. While my time as your CEO will conclude at the end of September, please know I’m not going far at all. I’ll continue to serve as a board member and investor, and I will forever be Poshmark’s biggest, most enthusiastic cheerleader. Namsun and I hope to see many of you at PoshFest next month in Silicon Valley where it all began back in 2011!

Leading this company has been the greatest honor of my professional life. Every success we’ve achieved, every challenge we’ve overcome, has been because of you. It’s been the privilege of a lifetime witnessing each of you grow, and it has truly inspired me every single day. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. A New Way to Discover Poshmark Listings—Now on Facebook Marketplace

We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership we’re testing with Facebook Marketplace that is designed to bring immense value to both shoppers and sellers. Facebook users in the U.S. are now able to browse Poshmark listings directly on Facebook Marketplace.

This test is designed to give our sellers increased visibility by introducing your listings to Facebook’s expansive audience, helping you reach new shoppers, make more sales, and grow your Poshmark businesses even faster.

As a seller, you don’t need to do anything differently—your listings, pricing, and shipping process remain exactly the same. This partnership works behind the scenes to amplify your reach with zero extra effort.

This collaboration is about making Poshmark closets more accessible, empowering more people to embrace circular fashion, and helping our seller community turn their style into earnings.

As with our other tests, we’re starting small to ensure listings appear favorably on Facebook Marketplace, and we’ll continue to test and learn—stay tuned for more updates.

New Policy Details

Last week we announced a new Excessive Listing Removal policy. We have heard and sincerely appreciate your feedback on this policy. Ahead of the May 1st policy launch, we want to provide clear guidance on what’s allowed and confirm that thoughtfully refreshing your closet is still encouraged!

What you can do:

  • Refresh listings that haven’t sold for 60+ days: You are welcome to refresh older listings to keep your closet vibrant and up-to-date. This policy is about how often you revisit your listings—not how you do it. 
  • Improve your refreshed listings: Add new photos, update titles and descriptions, or use Smart List AI to enhance your listings.
  • Use in-app features to reach shoppers: Price Drop and Offer to Likers are great ways to boost visibility.
  • Remove listings when no longer available: If your item sells elsewhere or is out of stock, you can delete it from Poshmark.
  • Continue using Copy Listing feature: Copy Listing can be used to create similar listings anytime or to refresh existing listings after 60 days. 

What we’re discouraging:

  • Excessive deletion and relisting of the same items: Removal and relisting in fewer than 60 days.
  • Behavior that circumvents fair discovery: Any action intended to gain unfair search or marketing advantages.

As the marketplace evolves, so do our policies. Refreshing your listings remains an important part of a successful selling strategy—our goal is to ensure it’s done in a way that benefits the entire community. Together, we can keep Poshmark fresh, fair and full of authentic discovery.

Personalizing Shopping & Discovery on Poshmark

May 20th, 2025 Update: We’re expanding the For You Feed to the entire Poshmark community! This new, personalized feed is designed to make it easier for shoppers to discover styles they love—while helping your listings get in front of the right buyers. After a successful test, we’re excited to bring this experience to more people and continue evolving the way we connect our community through style.


At Poshmark, we believe shopping should be effortless, exciting, and uniquely you. That’s why we’re reimagining the Feed as a space that reflects your style, introduces you to fresh finds, and, as a seller, connects your listings with the shoppers who will love them most—making discovery more personal and engaging.

To start, we’re beginning small-scale tests in the coming weeks that you may start to see in your Feed, offering both the experience you know today and a new For You Feed with more personalized recommendations based on how you shop and browse. Over time, we’ll continue to make optimizations to ensure sellers’ closets are well positioned in this new experience—spotlighting you to shoppers who are most likely to resonate with your style and inventory.

This is just the beginning, and we’ll be listening closely to make sure these updates bring a meaningful impact to the Poshmark experience. We’re excited to explore new ways to enhance discovery and will keep you updated along the way!
