What is Smart Sell?
Smart Sell is an automated selling assistant that helps you close deals faster and with less effort by taking one more task off your plate. Once you receive an offer on your listing, Smart Sell steps in to handle the negotiation for you, aiming to get you the best deal possible without going below the minimum price you set.
How It Works
- Toggle Smart Sell on for each item from the Share page to get started.
- Set your minimum price, or use a suggested one.
- Send offers as usual. When you receive an offer or counter offer, Smart Sell will accept or negotiate on your behalf.
- We’ll aim to get you as close to your listing price as possible, without going below your minimum.
- You can edit your listing at any time to turn Smart Sell on or off.

Is Smart Sell available to all sellers?
Not yet! Smart Sell is currently being tested with a group of sellers. We’ll be expanding access as we improve the experience.
Do I have to use Smart Sell on every listing?
No, Smart Sell is optional for each listing. You can choose to turn it on or off for each individual listing on the Share page. Whatever you choose will be saved as the default for your future listings.
How does Smart Sell decide what offers to accept or negotiate?
If a buyer’s offer meets or exceeds your minimum price, Smart Sell will use an algorithm to decide whether to accept the offer or send a counteroffer, aiming to get you as close to your listing price as possible. If an offer falls below your minimum, Smart Sell will counter. And if no deal can be made within your price range, you’ll be notified so you can step in.
Will Smart Sell get new features in the future?
Yes! Smart Sell is currently in testing, and we’re learning a lot from how sellers use it. We plan to improve and expand the tool over time to make selling even faster and easier. As the feature evolves, we’ll keep you updated with new capabilities designed to help you close more deals with less effort.
