What are Giveaways?
Giveaways are an exciting new feature in Posh LIVE, offering hosts a fresh way to boost engagement with their audience. This feature allows hosts to reward loyal shoppers, attract new followers, and generate buzz around their events, adding even more fun and excitement to the show experience.
It’s all about building community and creating joyful moments for both hosts and their shoppers. To enter a Giveaway, a shopper must follow your closet before entering.
Benefits of Running Giveaways
- Boost viewership and engagement by running as many Giveaways as you want.
- Increase closet followers, since shoppers must follow your closet to enter the Giveaway.
- Encourage FREE bundled shipping, since Giveaway winners will get free shipping for their winning item.
How to Run a Giveaway as a Host
| Create a listing with “Giveaway” in the listing title and add it to your show. |
| Tap the Giveaway icon and select the duration to start. Your Giveaway will be pinned to the top of your show so that you can continue to sell. |
| A winner will be randomly chosen and you’ll ship the item like any other order. |
| You will cover shipping costs which will be automatically deducted from your earnings. |
How to Enter a Giveaway
| Join a show and tap ‘Enter Giveaway’ when the host starts it. For Canadian viewers, you will be prompted to answer a skill-testing question in correspondence with Canadian law. You will have two attempts to correctly answer the question. Once you correctly answer the question, you will be entered into the Giveaway. |
| You must remain in the show in order to win. |

Giveaways FAQ
Do all Posh LIVE hosts now have access to this feature?
Yes! All US and CA hosts have access to this feature. Please make sure to update your app to the latest version to begin using.
Does the host cover the cost of shipping for the FREE Giveaway item?
Yes! The show host covers the shipping cost for the FREE Giveaway item, which is automatically deducted from their earnings. Giveaway items are completely free for shoppers.
Can Canadian hosts ship the Giveaway item with both Canada Post and Purolator?
Giveaways are shipped using the winner’s most recently selected shipping preference.
If the winner’s last order was shipped with Purolator Pick Up, the Giveaway order will also use Purolator Pick Up.
If the winner has not made any previous purchases, or if the host only supports Canada Post Home Delivery, the Giveaway shipment will default to Canada Post Home Delivery.
What must I do to enter the Giveaway?
To be eligible for a Giveaway, you must ensure you have saved default shipping and payment information in your account settings.
Additionally, in Canada you will be prompted to answer a skill-testing question in correspondence with Canadian law. You will have 2 attempts to correctly answer the question. Please note, if you leave the show and re-join, you will not receive an additional 2 attempts.
As a host, what items are allowed to be Giveaway items?
As a host, you can select any item that meets the same listing criteria of all other Poshmark closet listings. Please note you must own the listing in order to run it in your Giveaway.
Do I need to remain present in the show after entering the Giveaway?
Yes! In order to have a chance at winning the Giveaway, you must be present in the show.
Are Giveaway winners completely random?
Yes! A winner will be randomly selected automatically once the Giveaway duration ends. The host has no part in selecting a winner.
As a host, can I cancel a Giveaway after a winner is selected?
No, Giveaways are binding, just like auctions, and cannot be canceled by the host.
