What are Giveaways?
Giveaways are an exciting new feature in Posh Shows, offering hosts a fresh way to boost engagement with their audience. This feature allows hosts to reward loyal shoppers, attract new followers, and generate buzz around their events, adding even more fun and excitement to the show experience.
It’s all about building community and creating joyful moments for both hosts and their shoppers. To enter a Giveaway, a shopper must follow your closet before entering.

- Boost viewership and engagement by running as many Giveaways as you want.
- Increase closet followers, since shoppers must follow your closet to enter the Giveaway.
- Encourage FREE bundled shipping, since Giveaway winners will get free shipping for their winning item.
How to Run a Giveaway as a Host
| Create a listing with “Giveaway” in the listing title and add it to your show. |
| Tap the Giveaway icon and select the duration to start. Your Giveaway will be pinned to the top of your show so that you can continue to sell. |
| A winner will be randomly chosen and you’ll ship the item like any other order. |
| You’ll cover shipping costs which will be automatically deducted from your earnings. |
How to Enter a Giveaway
| Join a show and tap ‘Enter Giveaway’ when the host starts it. You will be prompted to follow the host if you don’t already. |
| You must remain in the show in order to win. |
| Celebrate the winner (fingers crossed it’s you)! Keep shopping shows to enter as many Giveaways as you’d like. Plus, if you win, enjoy FREE bundled shipping! |

Do all Posh Shows hosts now have access to this feature?
Yes! As of 10/18, all US hosts have access to this feature. Please make sure to update your app to the latest version to begin using.
Does the host cover the cost of shipping for the FREE Giveaway item?
Yes! The Posh Shows host covers the shipping cost for the FREE Giveaway item, which is automatically deducted from their earnings. Giveaway items are completely free for shoppers.
What must I do to enter the Giveaway?
As a shopper, simply follow the host’s closet. Once you follow, you’re eligible to enter the Giveaway during the show.
As a host, what items are allowed to be Giveaway items?
As a host, you can select any item that meets the same listing criteria of all other Poshmark closet listings.
Do I need to remain present in the show after entering the Giveaway?
Yes! In order to have a chance at winning the Giveaway, you must be present in the show.
Are Giveaway winners completely random?
Yes! A winner will randomly selected automatically once the Giveaway duration ends. The host has no part in selecting a winner.
As a host, can I cancel a Giveaway after a winner is selected?
No, Giveaways are binding, just like auctions, and cannot be canceled by the host. For more details, check out our support article.
