Megan’s Picks

1. Giuseppe Zanotti Gold Heels – $315 retail $995

What’s not to love about sky-high stilettos in gold? These exude sex appeal and will surely dress up any outfit you plan to wear. A perfect statement piece without being over the top.

2. Alexander McQueen Dress – $1250 retail $1495

A perfectly sleek pencil dress in black and white – this dress is gorgeous! The cap sleeves keep it laid back but the silhouette and the design are fitting for a formal affair.

3. Kate Spade Moonlit Soirée Sonia Glitter Crossbody – $250 retail $298

Form meets function – this glitter crossbody can be worn on my shoulder if I’m mingling and enjoying a cocktail, or I can tuck in the chain and hold this beauty as a clutch. I love conversation pieces like this one.

Nothing is better than a classic peep toe pump that you can pair with everything. This is how I feel about this Prada pumps; these beauties will go with pretty much every outfit making it a classic summer wedding staple.

5. Proenza Schouler Leather and silk dress – $200 retail $325

This statement piece is so elegant and versatile, I could wear this with so many outfits and it would stand out every time.

This peplum lace top would be amazing with a bright pencil skirt, so gorgeous and perfect for any of the weddings I will be attending this season. I love how elegant and sophisticated the cut is, and I know that it will go well with so many things.

3. Vera Wang Black Satin Heels – $250 retail $495

These peep toe pumps in black satin are definitely going to be my go-to’s for all of the weddings I’m going to be attending! The bow is so feminine – I love it!

This dress is so fun! I love that it’s loose-fitting and slightly casual because it’s like a bright canvas that I can really play up with accessories. Statement jewelry and some really tall heels in a playful color? I see so much styling potential here!

Trend Alert: Red and Black

Italy has Romeo and Juliet, Hollywood with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, and Nutella paired with about anything. But there hasn’t been a pair trendier and longer lasting than black and red. Nothing screams showstopper more than the editorial trend of black and red. There must be a reason why Louboutin’s most recognizable shoe is a black pump with a red sole.
