Introduce yourself.
I’m Chante Williams. My Poshmark closet name is @chantew23 and I’ve been on Poshmark since 2016.
What’s your favorite part of being a mom?
Being able to teach my daughter independence and to be confident in who she is!
In three words, share what motherhood means to you.
Love, strength, and care.
How do you balance Poshing and being a mom?
It definitely takes structure! I have to block out specific times throughout the week to navigate it all.
If you have a few words of advice to other mothers, what are they?
Love your kids! Pick their brains! It’s all about creating moments with them because time flies. Get as much video content as you can while they’re little, it’s always fun to go back and watch how far they’ve come!
What’s on your Mother’s Day wish list?
I just want to relax! I want some alone time with a glass of wine.
What’s the best tip your mother or a strong female figure in your life has given you?
To not be so hard on myself! I tend to be a perfectionist so I need to remind myself of this often this came from my grandma.
Introduce yourself.
Hello,my name is Sheena! I am 34 years old from Tampa, Florida. My closet name is @sheen3 and I joined Poshmark in October 2015. I joined as a way to get rid of my clothes at seven months pregnant to earn some extra cash for my brand new family of three. My earnings from Poshmark includes partially paying for the wedding my husband and I had just this past November.
What’s your favorite part of being a mom?
My favorite part of being a mom is knowing that there is never a dull moment when my husband and I are with our four year old son. The wonder and curiosity in his eyes; the laughter, the joy, the precious moments we share with him always reminds me to cherish these wonderful days. The time we spend with him is never taken for granted.
In three words, share what motherhood means to you.
Loving, kindness, and nurturing.
How do you balance Poshing and being a mom?
Being a mother can be one of the most difficult jobs on its own. Balancing Poshmark and being a mother has given me so much flexibility to decide when it is time to be with my son and when it is time to list and share. Even if I am able to list five items all day, that is an accomplishment.
If you have a few words of advice to other mothers, what are they?
Start your day early! Even if you have an hour of time to yourself, that can be such a game changer. I’ve met my goals by waking up an hour early and it has opened up the rest of my day to spend the most time with my son. Give it a shot!
What’s on your Mother’s Day wish list?
My Mother’s Day wish list is priceless. I want my family and I to continue to stay healthy and safe, especially under this pandemic our world has faced.
What’s the best tip your mother or a strong female figure in your life has given you?
My mother is my best friend and a strong female figure in my life. She has a beautiful and generous heart and someone I am always aspiring to be. Life through her eyes is always full of positive energy, joy and laughter. The best tip she has given me, (among others) is when putting in 100% continue to stay humble. It’s amazing how relatable it is to others when you stay true to yourself and how many people can find you trustworthy when you have a transparent outlook on life. My mom is the perfect example of being humble and true to herself no matter where she is at in life. For that, I admire her.

Introduce yourself.
My name is Lorel @yvrposhmama and I am a part-time nurse, wife, mama, and a full-hearted Posh Boss. I have been on Poshmark since they launched in Canada!
What’s your favorite part of being a mom?
The best part about being a mother is waking up, and knowing you get to be covered in sloppy kisses, and smothered in hugs. My daughter gives me so much joy and laughter. I know I can always count on her for some giggles. During this season she has also become my esthetician. She gives the best mani-pedis with all the sparkles.
In three words, share what motherhood means to you.
Having unending love.
How do you balance Poshing and being a mom?
The number one reason I am successful is because of my husband. He is my biggest encouragement and helps me whenever possible. Usually during more normal times we both get to work and do our own thing. But during these unprecedented times my husband and I have been switching one day off and one day on from working. Since shifts for a casual nurse at the hospital have been sparse, on my day off from “work” I get to live my dream of being a full-time Posh Boss. I post 5-10 items a day, and I’m constantly making offers to likers and sharing my closet. Thankfully I can do “sharing” and “offering” throughout my day while also being with my girl. My daughters’ favorite part is helping to package the items and she even pretends to have her own Poshmark closet by posting and playing around me. The balancing act is not for the faint of heart but is definitely worth it. I have a passion for reselling, Poshmark, and the hustle of it all. Because Poshmark is my fondest hobby I constantly find stress relief in doing it. So even after my daughter goes to bed, I find myself posting items and searching for my next great Posh Find.
If you have a few words of advice to other mothers, what are they?
I know not everyone can just jump in and be full-time. So, I would say for moms just starting out, to definitely try Poshmark! It is so rewarding being able to have extra income for fun things for the family. I’vereally enjoyed the social aspects of Poshmark and getting to know other Poshers. Some of the people that I talk to the most are people I have never met in person, just know there are other mothers across Canada doing the same thing I do. So always feel to reach out to other Poshers and ask questions. Poshers love to support one another and this community is so inspiring.
What’s on your Mother’s Day wish list?
To have a backyard, right now would be my greatest wish. Seeing my daughter happy and running around makes me so happy. My husband and I are working towards this for sure.
What’s the best tip your mother or a strong female figure in your life has given you?
My mom is definitely a huge inspiration for how I got into reselling. I feel like it is a very inter-generational thing, so I owe a lot to my mom, and even my Gran. They have always been on the hunt for good deals and helped to provide for their families by always hustling for the best finds. So I owe my entrepreneurial side to my mom who is even on Poshmark as @poshmima. I would say the best tip from my mom is “did you bring the coupon book?”

Introduce yourself.
Hi I’m Fernanda and my closet is @findthegood247. I was born and raised in Argentina, but moved to Canada many years ago to Edmonton Alberta.
What’s your favorite part of being a mom?
My favorite part of being a mom is that I get to be a kid all over again! I enjoy it one day at the time.
In three words, share what motherhood means to you.
Sacrifice, work, and hope.
How do you balance Poshing and being a mom?
Before all of this was different but now it has changed, I used to work on my Poshmark closet while my kids went to school. But now I have all my three kid’s at home, therefore my priorities have changed. I now wake up extra early and get ready for the day! First I go to my office to to work on my Poshmark Business and create listings, drafts and ship all while kids are still in bed. Once the kids are up I shift my attention to them and make sure all school assignments are done. This has worked so far but I always change accordingly. That’s the greatness of Poshmark, flexibility.
If you have a few words of advice to other mothers, what are they?
See the good in every day. Focus in the good things you have accomplished and the things you are working on to accomplish. That’s what your kids see and love.
What’s on your Mother’s Day wish list?
All the sunshine! A comfy patio chair, a drink, my kids screaming, and my hubby on the BBQ.
What’s the best tip your mother or a strong female figure in your life has given you?
Motherhood is a choice, choose to be you and your kids will love you for it

Introduce yourself.
My name is Doris and my closet is @houseofdiva! I’m from Nigeria, Africa but now live in Houston, Texas. I started on Poshmark in 2018 and went full-time in March 2019.I have a passion for fashion and I am thankful that Poshmark has given me the opportunity to make a living from this passion of mine.
What’s your favorite part of being a mom?
Being a mom has its highs and lows, motherhood is unquestionably extreme. It is no secret that motherhood fills you with different emotions.
In three words, share what motherhood means to you.
Love, acceptance, and family.
How do you balance Poshing and being a mom?
Working from home is not new to me and my kids are used to it. I like to prioritize my schedule and set boundaries. My days consist of waking up to a three year old climbing on my face, and my daughter screaming. Being a Posh mom looks awesome on social media but the reality of it is really challenging. One way I find balance is through engaging my kids with educational screen time activities, while I photograph items for my closet. My mom is actually living with us at the moment and has been helping tremendously.
If you have a few words of advice to other mothers, what are they?
Remember there is no right way to raise a child, you just do what you can. Trust yourself and enjoy the company.
What’s on your Mother’s Day wish list?
Mother’s Day for me is not about the material gifts. I just want to say a happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. We rock and we’re in this together. Being a mom is stressful yet rewarding, it’s honestly the hardest job I’ve ever had but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in this world.
What’s the best tip your mother or a strong female figure in your life has given you?
My mother has raised me to be courageous.

Introduce yourself.
Hello all my fellow Poshers! My name is Brittany and I am @winnipeg_Posher on Poshmark Canada. I’ve been on the app since it was released!
What’s your favorite part of being a mom?
My favourite part of being a mom is having the opportunity to watch my children grow and learn. I also enjoy teaching them how to be themselves.
In three words, share what motherhood means to you.
Motherhood is sacrifice, joy and unconditional love. It’s so tough but it’s worth it.
How do you balance Poshing and being a mom?
This is a tough one…I definitely struggle. I struggle finding a normal routine, balance and giving my undivided attention to each task. Overall, I’ve learned how to go with the flow, give myself grace and work hard to reach my goals every chance I get. For me this means working in the early mornings and late evenings when my children are asleep. I’m finally able to say I am a full-time Posher and it wasn’t easy but it’s been absolutely worth it to work from home.
If you have a few words of advice to other mothers, what are they?
We are all doing the best we can and to not be too hard on yourself. You can’t be everywhere all at the same time. Honestly, I had to learn to let my house be messy and to give myself grace when I’m tired. The main thing is pursue your goals; I’ve always wanted to be my own boss and I worked towards that goal and reached it. I’m now able to show my children that they too can do whatever sets their soul on fire.
What’s on your Mother’s Day wish list?
Sleep, ha ha! Lots of sleep. Mainly I just want my hard work to be acknowledged, motherhood is a full time job and it’s HARD. It’s even harder when you add in all the extras so to every mom out there who feels the same way. Please know you are seen and you aren’t alone. We’re all in this together.
What’s the best tip your mother or a strong female figure in your life has given you?
Ooh this is a tough one because I have so many strong female figures in my life. Summed up I would say the best tip has been to know what I can control and to let the rest go.
