So, you’re a fashion correspondent for The Today Show (can we say dream job!) How long have you been there and what’s your favorite part?
I started doing fashion and beauty segments more than four years ago but in March they expanded my role and hired me as a contributor to cover travel, technology, entertainment and lifestyle! I love that each day is a new adventure – one day I’m in the North Pole and the next I might be on a red carpet!
What’s one piece of advice you would give someone wanting to follow your inspirational career footsteps?
Hard work never goes unappreciated! I’m always the first one in and the last one to leave – even at this stage of my career. I think when you’re willing to tackle any job (even if it’s not yours) your team really takes notice and you become someone people can depend on no matter what.
What was your first job?
In high school I was a hostess at TGI Fridays!
What do you love most about Poshmark?
I love the community and the interaction between sellers and buyers … and I love that my items get a new life!
Favorite emoji, ready go!
Dancing lady in the red dress!
You’ve only been on Poshmark for the last few months, to what do you owe your success?
Being present on the app! I’m constantly on it – uploading new items, sharing closets, replying to comments and of course shopping!
What are your summer must-haves?
An oversized jean jacket, block heel sandals, something with pom-pom’s and a fabulous white dress!
Snapchat or Instagram? Snapchat!
If you could travel to one place right now where would it be and why?
Back to Morocco – I was just there for the weekend and my trip was way too short. I love the food, the people, the culture and most of all, the incredible artisans that make the most beautiful textiles I’ve ever seen. Can I start a “home” shop on Poshmark?!?
