What can we expect to see shared to the Host Picks Showroom? When I think of “Off Duty Style” I am thinking of looks that are both relaxed and edgy. In the Host Picks Showroom you can expect to see items that exude those style vibes. I am looking for both statement pieces and classic pieces that can be paired together to create an effortless yet glam look. Dressing up your favorite plain tee with a statement necklace or floral skirt? How about dressing down those hot pink Manolo Blahnik BB Pumps with your most comfortable pair of ripped jeans? Either way, I am all for it and ready to share it to this Off-Duty Style showroom!

What are you favorite off-duty style trends and pieces? I am really loving this trend I have been seeing of t-shirts with words or slogans on them. I feel like it started with the Celine t-shirt and now the trend has expanded to include clever or bold statements. I’ve seen some t-shirts say, “I woke up like this,’ “Killin’ it,’ or “I need coffee.” It’s fun, and what really makes this trend work is when it’s paired with glam style pieces like blingy statement necklaces, slick blazers, or something like a bright colored skater skirt. Off-Duty Style seems to be the fine line between casual and dressed up; The kind of pieces we want to feel comfortable running errands in while looking cute and fashionable so we can still make it to a late lunch with friends in style. On the other hand, one of my personal favorite trends I also think pairs well with Off-Duty Style is the concept of slouchy or oversized pieces. I love love love a flowy and loose-fit top paired with some skinny jeans! That’s what I typically wear “off duty;” I add a pair of d’orsay flats (Chinese Laundry’s are amazing) plus grab one of my favorite crossbody handbags (currently my MICHAEL Michael Kors Bedford XL Crossbody in “luggage” color  because it goes with everything) and I am good to go!

What can we expect to see shared to the Host Picks Showroom? Expect to see lots of fun and flowy clothes but with a little bit of an edgy city twist.

What are you favorite city chic trends and pieces? My favorite city chic pieces during the summer are chunky heeled strappy sandals. They make any summer outfit have a little bit more of a fancy feel but you can still get around the city comfortably.
