Edgy Style Party, Thursday, March 12
Jessica | @lula44
What can we expect to see shared to the Host Picks Showroom? I’ll be sharing all things leather, studded & spiked. Some of my go-to brands for edgy fashion include Vince, rag & bone, Alexander Wang, Helmut Lang, Rebecca Minkoff and Zoe Karssen.
What are your favorite edgy style pieces/trends? I’m loving pieces that will transition seamlessly into Spring – think ankle boots, destroyed denim, vintage style tees, and leather – while using unexpected colors like pastels as an alternative to the traditional black. For those wanting to try the trend with a feminine twist, look for leather skater skirts, studded handbags and sparkly knuckle rings. Edgy style is all about attitude – don’t be afraid to work it!

What can we expect to see shared to the Host Picks Showroom? Expect to see some fierce and unique items. Anything from sequin dresses, leather jackets, cut-outs and some cutting edge designer pieces.
What are your favorite edgy style pieces/trends? My favorite edgy pieces are a structured moto leather jacket, black lace, destroyed jeans and any studded accessory, such as a handbag. Another edgy trend is wearing one basic clothing item or a unique accessory. For example, I love wearing tight faux leather skinnies paired with a sleek shirt and black pumps for a night out. I also love mixing in a rocker leather jacket while wearing a girly piece such as a black lace dress. I love finding one-of-a-kind pieces that I can incorporate into my closet. It’s all about experimenting with different styles and being chic.
