New to Poshmark?  No problem!  We think you’ll find selling on Poshmark so easy that you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it before.

Here’s how it works: List. Ship. Earn. It’s really as simple as 1-2-3.

Step 1:  List Your Item.

Start by finding an item in your closet that you love but just don’t wear anymore. For example, do you have….

  • A dress you wore to a wedding once?
  • A skirt that still has tags on it?
  • Jewelry from an ex that just needs to go?
  • Killer heels that were always a tad too small?

Then, list them for sale on Poshmark! It’s easy and free.

Step 2: Ship Your Item.

Once your item sells, let EasyShip do the hard work. We send you a pre-paid pre-addressed shipping label. All you have to do is print it out, package up the item, and drop it off at the corner mailbox (if it fits) or at the nearest US Post Office. No stamps, no hassle!

Step 3: Earn Cash.

You can withdraw your earnings from Poshmark anytime…for free! Deposit your money directly into your checking account, request a check, or use the cash to purchase directly on Poshmark. You choose.

  2. How do I take a picture to get started selling?? I downloaded the I tunes app and when I hit sell it directs me to download an app that’s already downloaded. LOL This is not easy so please HELP!

      • Thanks for this information. It would have been something I would have liked to know before I signed up though. I have hundreds of high quality photos in my laptop of clothing. I am worried now that I will have to take them all again with my phone. Any advice for this problem?

      • Hi Sam, you can sign up for a free cloud hosting app, like Box or Dropbox, that connects files on your desktop and phone via apps. Hope that helps!

  3. I ordered something I’m guessing was already sold. I paid for it and I want to confirm from seller if I will be receiving it or not. If not…. I would like a refund. The seller is not responding to link on page. What can I do?

    • Hi Marija, uploading images and creating listings are done through the app, which is available from the Apple and Google Play stores. Browsing and shopping can be done on the web and within the app. If you want to change your account name, please reach out to support@poshmark.com.

  8. is there a certain box we have to ship the items in? or can it be any box/envelope, as long as it has the prepaid shipping label on it?

    I have several questions regarding PoshMark. First, I listed 2 items on the same day- Gucci sandals and boots, I can see the posted item for the Sandals but not the boots- it has now been 3 days. I did contact support@poshmark.com and received an automated response confirming receipt of my inquiry but still no update. Second, I get invited to many parties in which I try to share the items which I am selling but again, nothing posts to the party sites. Lastly, is there anyway to communicate with other sellers/buyers in private message through PoshMark?

    • Why cant we message the seller I have a question on some of the things I want to buy but no way to message just comment and never get a answer wont buy if I cant get a answer on a item not happy.

      • Hi Jacqueline, the easiest way to reach out to a seller about an item is via the comments of the listing. Also see past comments in case your question has previously been answered.

  11. I’m getting very frustrated! When I’m searching for, say, a dress and am scrolling through hundreds++ of pics/listings – if I see something I might like, I click on it, get a better look and then decide it’s not for me, so I hit the back arrow to continue looking through the dresses – it does NOT take me back to the point where I was! So now, I basically have to scroll through AGAIN hundreds of dresses I already looked through. This makes me NOT want to click on something of possible interest since it will mean I basically have to start my search all over again. THAT is crazy and very discouraging.

    • Hi Pamela, To delete your account in the app go to the Account Tab → Poshmark Support Center → Delete your account. If you are on the web, you may request deletion by clicking on “Delete your account.” If you have any questions, please reach out to support@poshmark.com.

  12. Hello – I’m new to Posh and I must say I LOVE it. When someone asked to “Bundle” say 4 items and I obliged but how many days do you allow them to make an offer? What is the “Etiquette?” What if someone else is interested of that bundle?

    • Hi Beth, it’s up to you. Typically when requesting a bundle be created, buyers have implied good faith to proceed with a purchase. Sometimes it helps to tag them in the listing and remind them that you created the bundle on their request.

  13. Please give me the steps necessary to tag someone. Poshers are so kind and helpful and one told me to press the @ sign on the right side of the screen . I’m having no luck doing this. Also would like to group reply to Poshers that responded to a post with more info or reduced price special. How? Help!

    • Hi Tickie, to tag someone, simply add a @ symbol and then type out their username. Make sure there are no spaces in between the @ symbol and the username in a comment. For example @pm_editor.

  17. I am trying to purchase five items. Will I have to pay $4.99 for each individual item or is there a way I can ship them all for one shipping price. I heard of bundle but how do I do that and does all of the item have to be by the same seller???

  18. I JUST joined Poshmark. Once you have sold an item, when are funds available in “seller’s” account? (whether they choose to be deposited in bank account, use for Poshmark purchases, or a check be mailed)

  19. I would like to list at least 10 items from my closet to sell, but do you have to take a pic, give description , etc. individually? Can I take pics of all the items I want to sell, describe them each and then post individually?

    • Hi Theresa, each item has a separate listing so you’ll need to create them individually. One idea is to take photos all at once and then create the listings afterward.

    • Hi Autumn, USPS will send you boxes for free when you order through USPS.com. You can also pick them up for free at a Post Office. Please ensure that you’re getting Priority Mail and not Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes for best results with Poshmark shipments.

  21. Hi, I joined Poshmark a few months ago. I have 70+ items listed. I get tons of likes, but I still have never sold anything. Do you have any advice on how I can turn those likes into sales.

  23. I purchased a pair of shoes and have not received them or heard from the seller, is there a way to find out if she’s still using Poshmark? No word on the order and I really want the shoes.

  24. I was wondering if it is possible for Poshmark to send out a mass email to all Poshers gently reminding them of items that aren’t allowed? If I had to guess, I’d say 80%-90% of the closets I see are not Posh-compliant.
    Reporting so many items (or entire closets) is becoming a frequent, time-consuming task, when I’d much rather be growing my own closet and sharing the closets of others who follow the rules.

    I’ve already contacted Posh Support, to no avail. Do you have any advice?

  25. How do I go about receiving the blog via email? The only emails I receive are the ones telling me an item has sold or I have a new offer. Am I supposed to be receiving the blog or any other emails? Once in a while I’ll see a notice that my email isn’t correct, but it is, or I wouldn’t be receiving anything at all.

  26. I just started this yesterday and I have had a handful of people who have shared items in my closet. How do I send them a thank you message? I forget to write down their account name then I have to quit typing my message to go backwards to get their name. Someone told me their name should prefill as I start typing but it’s not. Also, I read someone’s comment about yesterday being a discounted shipping rate but I never receive a message about this? How do I get these? My notifications are all set up to get everything. Thanks.

    • Hi Erin, welcome to Poshmark! Sharing is quite common on Poshmark, so it’s not really necessary to write a note of thanks. One way to show your thanks is to share an item from their closet. If you wanted to reach out to someone directly, you can comment on a listing (look to see if they have a Meet the Posher listing, for example) or you can reference them in a comment by adding @ before their username. As for discounted shipping, there were no sitewide promotions yesterday. There are, however, hour-long discounted shipping rates when a seller drops a price by 10% or more of this historical lowest price the item has had.   29. I’m also new to Poshmark and love it so far. Several things bother me though. One is that I have some things I’d like to sell but you need a smart phone to do so which I don’t own. Second, I’ve reached out to several sellers to ask questions without any replies so I’m wondering if their merchandise is even still available. And the back button thing. It doesn’t take me back to my last place that I looked. But the most important is that I can’t seem to get contact from a seller on something I really want to buy and don’t know if she is still on here. Is there anything you can do?

    • Hi Paula, regarding reaching out to sellers, it is possible they are inactive. We do our best to alert inactive sellers of activity in their closet, but for now it’s best to look at the date the listing was last updated and comment as you have done.
